The Orting Senior Center Organization was established in May 1989 by a dedicated group of seniors. Their vision was to create a welcoming place where seniors could gather, connect with friends, and support one another.

From its inception, the organization focused on providing meaningful opportunities for seniors. Members were encouraged to volunteer both within the Senior Center and throughout the Orting community. This spirit of service helped foster a sense of self-worth and belonging among participants.
